MYFA Girls Flag Football

MYFA Gridiron Elite Girls Football Club 2025

Eligibility: Girls in current grades 3rd-12th, open to the public, no tryout required

Training Schedule: Practices starting week of April 13th. One training session during the week, and either an additional training or game on Sundays. Tentative schedule below

Training Location: Metro Youth Football Complex on Ahearn Dr in Cedar Rapids

State Tournament Info: Sunday, June 1 @ MYFA Complex

Divisions & Game Format: Players will be sorted into 3 age levels for practice & competition. Generally 3rd-5th, 6th-8th, 9th-12th. There may be some flexibility to help balance team formations and to suit participant's experience & competitive desires. We will recognize teammate requests when it comes time to finalize teams for tournament play. The game format, such as 5v5 or 7v7 and other rules, will be determined by state tournament host organizers by May 1.

Cost: $29 enrollment includes training sessions, uniform top, state tournament entry & commemorative t-shirt.

Enrollment: Will run through April 12th.

Full Schedule:

Week of April 13- two 90 minute training sessions

Week of April 20 - one two hour training session

Week of April 27- two 90 minute training sessions

Week of May 4- One two hour training session and one game

Week of May 11- One two hour training session and one game

Week of May 18- One two hour training session and one game

Week of May 25 - two 90 minute training sessions

May 30 (Friday before tournament last practice & tourney prep)

June 1 Tournament
